-Was organized in 1943 and was instrumental in establishing Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.

-Is a professional organization for all SDA dentists, dental hygienists, dental students, and dental hygiene students from all schools of dentistry across the WORLD.

-Is a professional organization for any dental professional or friend of dentistry who agrees with and supports the mission, goals, and desires of NASDAD, regardless of religious affiliation, 

-Provides the opportunity for social and professional contact with other SDA dentists & dental hygienists.

-Supports dental mission projects through donations made to the YAMM fund (Year Around Mission Money).

-Has provided an endowment to support Service Learning mission activities for dental and dental hygiene students at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
